I'm Kristen, and for as long as I can remember, I have been taking notes. This blog is a compilation of my notes that mean the most...notes on life, notes on family, notes on things that inspire me, things I create, and things I love. I hope you'll take some notes yourself. 

Here's how I got to where I am today....

Growing up, I fell in love with art. And, well, learning in general.  In 2010, I graduated with my BS in Nursing from UNC Chapel Hill.  Maybe one day I'll write about the 180 flip from art to nursing. Maybe.

May 2010, I married Wesley, my best friend, for time and all eternity.

Soon after we got married, we picked up Penny. We sure do love spoiling having a dog! She is our main source of entertainment as we are both working full time and Wesley finishes up his BS in Mathematics at NC State.
